Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola insists there is no chance his or any other team are capable of winning all four major trophies on offer.
The Citizens are through to the Carabao Cup semi-finals following Tuesday’s penalty shoot-out win over Leicester City, while they are also 11 points clear in the Premier League and through to the Champions League last-16.
City will then also enter the FA Cup in January, leaving the English giants very capable of going deep in all competitions, although Guardiola has been quick to write off any chance of clinching all those titles in one campaign.
He said: "That is not going to happen. Of course not. Come on, that isn't real. What we're living isn't real.
"That is not going to happen. The situation of winning 16 or 17 games in a row in the league and qualifying for the Champions League before we finished the group stage and now we're here playing with a lot of young players.
"That is not normal. In football you drop points and you lose competitions. I am not thinking about how many titles, I am thinking about the next game."
