Veselin Jelusic boost for Bloemfontein Celtic

Posted: 20 December 2017 Time: 13:32

Bloemfontein Celtic coach Veselin Jelusic will be back in the dugout for tonight's final league game of the year against SuperSport United at Dr Molemela Stadium (19h30).

The Serbian missed Phunya Sele Sele's 4-1 thumping by Mamelodi Sundowns last time out after returning home to renew his UEFA A coaching licence.

John Maduka and Lehlohonolo Seema have since returned the reins to Jelusic, who is without suspended defender Tshepo Rikhotso for the clash with the CAF Confederation Cup finalists.

"The coach is back and will be on the bench tonight," Celtic CEO Khumbulani Konco tells

"Rikhotso is the only one missing due to suspension but otherwise we have a full-strength squad for tonight's game against SuperSport United.

"It's our last game this year at home and we want to go to the Christmas break with a win."

Siwelele are eighth on the Premiership table with 19 points from 13 games - four points more than SuperSport, who boast three matches in hand owing to their continental exploits.
