Van Heerden was nominated for a free-kick he slotted in a 3-1 league defeat to Mamelodi Sundowns at Orlando Stadium on November 1.

Makola put himself in contention by nodding home a well-worked team goal in a 4-2 (2-2 AET) penalties loss to Polokwane City in the Telkom Knockout three days later.

Nyamata's first goal for the club came when he toe-poked the ball home at Dr Molemela Stadium on November 26 to hand Pirates their first win at Bloemfontein Celtic in nine years.

MultiChoice Diski Challenge duo Fredie Hlalele and Ricardo Lourenco were also nominated for strikes against Kaizer Chiefs and the Bucs first team in MDC and friendly action respectively.

Sea Robbers skipper Thabo Matlaba won last month's award, which is decided by fans voting on the club's social media platforms. Voting closes on Friday.
