Golden Arrows winger Kudakwashe Mahachi insists there is no cause for panic amid a 10-match winless run in all competitions for Abafana Bes'thende.
Arrows started the season promisingly but now find themselves on the wrong side of the table with 17 points from 14 games, having last tasted victory in September when Mahachi slotted a late penalty against Platinum Stars at Royal Bafokeng Stadium.
Clinton Larsen's side, who lost 1-0 to Mamelodi Sundowns last time out, will end 2017 against Maritzburg United at Princess Magogo Stadium in KwaMashu on Sunday (15h30).
“It’s not about the luck... we collected some points along the way and even the league is not consistent,” Mahachi tells KickOff.com.
“We just have to regroup as a team. We are playing Maritzburg on Sunday and we need to win that one before the break.
“Against Sundowns we played well. We conceded what I can call a silly goal in a set-piece and that has been our story where we just concede silly goals. I feel we need to change that.
“What is missing is we need to convert our chances. We are still on the right track... there’s no cause for panic but we have to stay together and focus on our next game against Maritzburg as I’ve said.”
He adds: “We are still a good team, there’s no doubt about that. Golden Arrows is a good team and everyone when they play us they get worried. I promise you Arrows will be back soon.”
