Free State Stars coach Luc Eymael delighted with back-to-back wins

Free State Stars head coach Luc Eymael was delighted to see his side claim back-to-back victories in the Absa Premiership.

Ea Lla Koto defeated SuperSport United during the week and followed that up with a 2-1 victory over Orlando Pirates at Goble Park on Saturday evening.

"I'm very happy for my committee and I'm very happy for my boys. Two games in a row in six days it's very difficult. It's not good for the health, despite the fact that we have a lot of things to use to recover. We are not in Europe," Eymael told SuperSport TV.

"We take six points in this Boxing Day it's fantastic [Free State beat SuperSport in midweek]. We could have killed the game earlier with counter-attacks like we did against SuperSport. But I have to recognise that Pirates had two or three good chances, my goalkeeper made good saves. But the one who is more clinical will win.

"I'm flying back to Johannesburg for a one-week break and we will be back in training on the 26th. Next time I would hope we score the chances we create because it's not good [missing chances] I'm an old man now, for my heart it's not good."
