TP Mazembe goalkeeper Sylvain Gbohouo is keen on a move to the PSL with AmaZulu said to be considering the option of bringing him on board during the January transfer window.
The Ivory Coast national team keeper has been with Mazembe for three years after joining from Sewe Sport back in his homeland.
With Mazembe he has won the domestic league twice, Super Coupe du Congo once, CAF Champions League once, CAF Confederation Cup twice and CAF Super Cup once, and so feels he needs a new challenge.
Word reaching KickOff.com is that the 29-year-old was initially in the sights of Cape Town City.
However, City have already identified Brilliant Khuzwayo as their prime goalkeeping target.
Usuthu have conceded 16 goals this season, raising doubt about the strength of their goalkeeping department.
At present they have Boafela Pule as first choice supported by Siyabonga Mbatha, with Mpendulo Dlamini and veteran keeper Energy Murambadoro providing further cover.
