Mamelodi Sundowns coach Pitso Mosimane likens Maritzburg United to Golden Arrows

Mamelodi Sundowns coach Pitso Mosimane believes it is crucial his team draws first blood against Maritzburg United in Tshwane tonight.
Sundowns will host Maritzburg at Loftus Versfeld looking to extend their two-point lead at the summit and gain revenge for their MTN8 quarter-finals loss to the Team of Choice earlier in the season.
Both sides have won their previous two games, while they registered draws in their two league meetings last term.
Mosimane believes Maritzburg will look to hurt his team on the counter as he likened the visitors' approach to Golden Arrows, who lost 1-0 to Masandawana in KwaMashu on the weekend.
“It’s going to be the exactly the same way like against Golden Arrows. Maritzburg is an example of counter attacking. They hang in there, they reinforce the defense and they go out on the break. They are a good team,” said Mosimane.
“We are also playing a team that is on form. They have scored seven goals in the last two games [against Cape Town City and Baroka] so it's raining goals. You know they like to play against us, so it’s going to be a difficult one.
“We have to be careful about the match, but if we score first we’ll be okay,” concluded 'Jingles', who is minus injured attackers Khama Billiat and Anthony Laffor for the game.
Kick-off is at 19h30.
