Amajita's COSAFA Under-20 Championships semi-final opponents confirmed

Amajita’s semi-final opponents at the COSAFA Under-20 Championships has been confirmed following the completion of the round-robin fixtures on Tuesday.
South Africa will face North African guest nation Egypt in a rematch of their final Group B encounter, which they won 2-1 on Monday afternoon, while Uganda take on Lesotho.
In Group A, Uganda and Malawi both ended on five points but the East African guests sealed top spot with a superior goal difference of positive-two.
Group C's Zimbabwe and Lesotho were held to goalless draws against Namibia and Angola respectively, leaving both teams on five points and a goal difference of positive-one.
However, the young Crocodiles finished as group winner’s due to their superior goals-for tally of positive-two, compared to Zimbabwe’s positive-one.
Meanwhile, the Young Pharaohs were drafted into the semi-finals as best runners-up of the three groups, as they tallied six points from their three games.
The two semi-finals are scheduled to take place on Thursday, with Amajita and Egypt in action at 13h00 (SA time) before Uganda and Lesotho clash at 16h00 (SA time).
