Bidvest Wits CEO Jose Ferreira says no offers will be entertained in January for club captain Thulani Hlatshwayo as the player is not for sale.
Media reports have suggested Absa Premiership giants Orlando Pirates could reignite their interest in the Bafana Bafana skipper.
In past interviews 'Tyson' has also never been shy in sharing his dream of one day turning out for the Buccaneers in a Soweto Derby.
However, Ferreira has quashed talk Hlatshwayo could be heading to Bucs anytime soon.
"Nobody has approached me and nobody will be approaching me in January," Ferreira told KickOff.com.
"Pirates have not spoken to me, and they will not be phoning me in January either.
"Hlatshwayo is not for sale, our captain is not for sale. I'm not interested in such a story. Nobody has spoken to us and nobody will be speaking to us, they won't go past the front door. Nobody will get past the front door."
Meanwhile, Ferreira says he is still waiting for word from head coach Gavin Hunt regarding former Pirates defender Edwin Gyimah.
Gyimah has been training with the Students, fuelling talk he was being lined up as a replacement for Hlatshwayo.
"He [Gyimah] is training with us correct, I don't even know [how he is doing]. I haven't even spoken to my coach about him. All I know is that he is training with us. But I will find out soon."
When contacted Hunt advised this website to speak to Ferreira.
"Err... You must speak to Jose. Speak to Jose, please ask him," Hunt said.
Despite winning the Telkom Knockout this month, the Premiership champions are having a difficult time in the league as they are bottom of the table close to the halfway mark.
