Mamelodi Sundowns returned to the summit of the Absa Premiership table after defeating Golden Arrows 1-0 on Sunday afternoon.
Bangaly Soumahoro opened the scoring in the fifth minute as the Ivorian had space to power through a half-volley into the back of the net, 0-1.
Kudakwashe Mahachi was unlucky in the 10th minute as his wonder strike from 20-yards beat crashed against the crossbar with goalkeeper Denis Onyango well beaten.
The Brazilians were comfortable after 35 minutes, as they knocked the ball around in no rush whatsoever while Abafana Bes'thende were struggling with the final pass in the last third.
Hlompho Kekana had a chance to extend the visitors' lead three minutes before halftime, but his free-kick went wide from 25-yards.
Sibusiso Vilakazi had a chance of his own in stoppage time but the Sundowns midfielder's shot from inside the box sailed narrowly wide.
10 minutes into the second half, Kekana hit a brilliant free-kick from the edge of the box but Nkosingiphile Gumede produced an equally impressive save to deny Masandawana a two-goal cushion.
Larsen's troops increased the tempo after 65 minutes but the Brazilians' defence was solid at the back.
In the 69th minute, Gumede produced a brilliant point-blank save to deny Vilakazi the second goal for the visitors.
Oupa Manyisa missed a sitter in the 72nd minute after being played through on goal, but Gumede accelerated enough to close the angle and denied the midfielder.
Mosimane withdrew midfielder Themba Zwane 13 minutes before time and brought on striker Yannick Zakri.
However, the visitors played deep in the last five minutes as Abafana Bes'thende were searching for the equaliser.
Thokozani Sekotlong came on for Vilakazi with three minutes left on the clock.
However, the Brazilians passed the ball around in the end and showed their experience to run down the clock to claim victory.
