Serie A match report Juventus v Inter Milan 09 December 2017

Posted: 9 December 2017 Time: 23:31

Juventus failed to leapfrog Inter Milan at the Summit of the Serie A standings after the two sides played to a goalless draw on Saturday night.

There was a surprise selection for Juve as Massimiliano Allegri opted start star forward Paulo Dybala on the bench.

Inter have been in fine form this season, but they hardly tested Juve shot-stopper Wojciech Szczesny, who deputised for the injured Gianluigi Buffon, on the night.

The Serie A champions had the best chance of the first half when Mario Mandzukic hit the woodwork.

The second half didn't fare any better as the visitors showed no real attacking intent as they failed register a single effort on target.

Dybala was eventually introduced in the 75th minute as Juve pushed for a goal, but the Argentine's presence did alter the game in anyway as the clash ended goalless.

The draw sees Inter maintain top spot and their unbeaten start to the season.
