Mthatha Bucks update on Luyolo Nomandela and Sifiso Ntjolo

Mthatha Bucks have given an update on suspended pair Luyolo Nomandela and Sifiso Ntjolo.

The duo attended a hearing at the club on Wednesday for 'ill-discipline on and off the field', according to a press release from the NFD club.

Bucks general manager Lunga Tukute says due process is being followed.

"Yes, we did meet for a DC but that's not for us to say whether we've found them guilty or not," Tukute explains to

"When we do this thing as a team though it's an internal matter. We got someone independent doing it so that a person doesn't say he got unfair judgement you see.

"It depends on that somebody. We've asked him to speed up the process because we also need to have a way forward as well as a team. So he will compile his own findings. That should take... probably by the end of the week cause we got to wait for his findings.

"As a club we will make a ruling based on contract issues as well, on what does the contract say if found guilty what happens. What are the implications on his work which is in the contract. As a club we will look at that and we've got to give seven days for the players to appeal you know because we've got to give them a fair judgement, give them notice so that a person can gather all the information he needs and come with a witness if there's a case, things like that.

"So ja, we definitely met because at the end [of the day] they are our players so we don't want to keep them out for too long. So it will be Monday at the most, but once we get that we will make a statement as a team, maybe you will get it as well."
