Orlando Pirates captain Thabo Matlaba says there is only one thing missing from the Buccaneers' game this season.
Matlaba is referring to Bucs' poor finishing which has yielded nine goals from 13 matches - the worst return of the teams in the top half of the standings.
Pirates most recently fired blanks in a goalless draw with SuperSport United at Orlando Stadium on Tuesday.
“To be honest everything is right, it is just that at the moment we are not converting our chances,” Matlaba said.
“When you look back against Polokwane City, we had a lot of chances but we didn't convert them. Even against Golden Arrows and SuperSport United we had a lot of chances but we didn't convert them.
“We played well against SuperSport, in the first 10 minutes we were on top of them. But we lost a lot of balls but second half we came as a better team.”
Matlaba hopes his side can build on their second-half display against Matsatsantsa when they host AmaZulu on Saturday (20h15).
“We drew against SuperSport but it is water under the bridge, now we are focusing on the AmaZulu game,” Matlaba said.
“We will take the second-half performance as a positive to Saturday's game against AmaZulu.”
