Juan Mata admits losing Paul Pogba for the Manchester derby is a big blow but remains confident Manchester United have the quality needed to come out on top.
The Red Devils trail bitter rivals Manchester City by eight points in the Premier League ahead of Sunday’s titanic clash at Old Trafford [18:30 kickoff].
France international Pogba, though, will miss the match as he begins a three-game suspension following his red card at Arsenal last weekend, and while Mata would have preferred the playmaker be part of the day, he remains confident of his other team-mates abilities.
"Yeah, big miss,” Mata said of Pogba’s unavailability. "He's a fantastic player.
"He did a fantastic assist [on Tuesday night]. He's a very complete midfielder, he can do all things. He will be a big miss but another player will play and try his best.
"I think we have a good squad and have good players to replace any other player. Hopefully we can win for him."
