Teboho Moloi sees room for improvement after Chippa United's win over Kaizer Chiefs

Posted: 6 December 2017 Time: 22:44

Chippa United head coach Teboho Moloi felt his charges should have wrapped up the game in the first half against Kaizer Chiefs.

Abel Mabaso's first-half strike was enough to hand Chippa a 1-0 win over the AmaKhosi at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium.

Despite claiming three points, Moloi insists the performance was not their best.

Speaking to SuperSport TV after the match, Moloi said: "I'll take [the result]. The performance today wasn't one of our best performances. We were supposed to have wrapped up the game in the first half. In the second half, I believe that Chiefs really put us on the back foot."

"It was a game of two halves, but you know, sometimes they say that you should take whichever way that you win for as long as you get the three points. Even if it wasn't one of our best performances, if these three points take me up there with the other guys, then I'm happy with it."
