As revealed by KickOff.com on Monday, Kosta Papic has been reappointed head coach of Royal Eagles.
The former Orlando Pirates tactician takes over from Zipho Dlangalala, who was named interim coach in September but was dismissed on the weekend after registering two wins from 11 games in charge.
"As I'm sure you know by now, I can confirm that it is a done deal with Papic and he started to train the team yesterday," Eagles general manager James Dlamini confirms to this website.
Papic was previously succeeded by Allan Freese at Eagles midway through last season after he underwent an operation in his native Serbia.
Dlamini, however, insists there are no health concerns surrounding the ex-Kaizer Chiefs mentor.
"I know previously there was concern regarding his health last season but I can safely say he's fine. What I'm pushing right now is for him to be available for our next game against Jomo Cosmos on Sunday," Dlamini adds.
Eagles, whose chairman Sbu Mpisane has a dream of taking the club to the topflight, has chopped and changed coaches since he bought the status of Sivutsa Stars in 2014.
The team is currently 14th on the log with 12 points from 13 games.
