Kgoloko Thobejane laments Baroka's poor start against Mamelodi Sundowns

Posted: 5 December 2017 Time: 23:16

Baroka FC coach Kgoloko Thobejane bemoaned his side's poor start against Mamelodi Sundowns.

The Limpopo outfit gave away a penalty after just two minutes and Sundowns went on to dominate to claim a 4-0 win at the Lucas Moripe Stadium.

"It was not that difficult. Pre-match I alluded that we need to score early, If they [Sundowns] score early, then it's a problem," he told SuperSport TV.

"We were very much unfortunate today. It's one of those games, a test of character. From here, we must be stronger so we can keep on going."

Thobejane was also disappointed with his side's sloppiness on the ball.

"We were not trying to control the ball, it was one, two, three, four passes and then we lose the ball. Even if we were going forward, we were unable.

"It's one of those games, but we'll take it from here."
