Chelsea boss Antonio Conte wary of Atletico Madrid striker Antoine Griezmann's threat in Champions League

Posted: 5 December 2017 Time: 15:55

Chelsea boss Antonio Conte admits his side will have their work cut out for them keeping Antoine Griezmann quiet in tonight’s UEFA Champions League encounter.

The Blues host their La Liga counterparts at Stamford Bridge in the final round of Group C fixtures, where Chelsea need only a draw to qualify for the last-16.

And with Griezmann having seemingly come out of an early-season slump to regain his best form, Conte admits the forward could pose his defenders plenty of problems.

"Three games ago, there was a Griezmann problem because he didn't score. Now he's scoring,” said the Chelsea boss.

"Griezmann is a top player, a fantastic player, playing in a great team and showing he is a top player. We must pay great attention not only to him but to all the players."
