Bloemfontein Celtic head coach Veselin Jelusic says they will use the loss to Bidvest Wits as motivation to work harder.
Vincent Pule's late strike handed the Clever Boys a 1-0 win in the Telkom Knockout final on Saturday evening.
The Serbian-born mentor was pleased with the effort his side put in on the day despite falling short.
"I'm disappointed with the results but not disappointed with the commitment from the players. We tried our best, it was a very competitive game," Jelusic told SuperSport TV.
"The match didn't have too many chances but unfortunately for us they scored two minutes before the end of the game. They won, so congratulations to Wits.
"It's proof of the quality of our team. We are not going to stop here, we'll use it as motivation to continue to work and achieve better results in the future," he added.
"It is part of the game, we lost concentration in the latter part of the game. There is no difference to score in the first minute of the game and the last minute of the game. We competed and gave our best but we lost, so again congratulations to Wits."
