Philippe Coutinho says Brazil have the confidence to go all the way at the 2018 World Cup ahead of Friday’s draw in Russia.

The 32 nations competing at next year’s global showpiece will learn their fates this afternoon when the group-stage draw is completed at the Kremlin [17h00 South African local time].

Brazil are considered amongst the favourites to lift the coveted trophy and Liverpool superstar Coutinho is hoping they can live up to their billing.

Asked if Brazil can go all the way in Russia and lift the World Cup for the sixth time, Coutinho said: "Yes, we have to have the hope.

"We have recuperated, [and regained the] confidence of the Brazilian fans, and for sure we are looking forward now to the World Cup.

"We know there are still some months until the World Cup but we have to do well with our clubs to be there."
