Ndengane fires Wits warning

Bloemfontein Celtic defender Alfred Ndengane says Bidvest Wits should brace themselves for another acid test when the sides square off in the Telkom Knockout final in Durban.
The teams will collide tomorrow at Princess Magogo Stadium, north of Durban at 18h00, with the winner set to pocket R4million in prize money.
Phunya Sele Sele already beat Wits in the league this season courtesy of Roggert Nyundu's solitary strike in October. However, Wits have won eight of the last 10 meetings.
Ndengane, who has been a stalwart at the back for Celtic alongside Wandisile Letlabika, is drawing inspiration from the previous game heading into the high-stakes rematch.
"Always when we play Wits it's a tough game and they know when we play them we give them a run for their money. They must expect the same thing when we play them in the final," Ndengane said.
"Also, it's been a long since Celtic reached a cup final and we told ourselves that this is our time for the team and for the fans.
"So the mood in the camp is also highly charged and everyone is up for the cup final. To tell you the truth, half of the team, maybe four, five players have been in cup finals before, but the rest of the guys haven't been in a cup final, so that is motivation in itself."
Ndengane feels Siwelele are playing good football under Serbian coach Veselin Jelusic, who was appointed in the off-season after the club flirted with relegation.
"He's a good coach with a lot of experience and we are learning a lot from him. If you check it's been nine or 10 games played and we are playing good football. He's father figure to us all," added Ndengane, who was lucky to escape with only a yellow card in the recent 1-0 league defeat to Orlando Pirates.
