Kaizer Chiefs reserve team coach Arthur Zwane says there is no turning back for his charges after they won their second game of the season with a 3-0 thumping of Chippa United on Saturday.
Chiefs won via a brace from Reamohetswe Lekoatsa and strike from Bongani Mabena at Dobsonville Stadium to move up to 13th on the MultiChoice Diski Challenge standings with seven points from eight games.
“We could not play our normal passing game,” Zwane told his club's website.
“I am happy that we were productive, despite playing on a water soaked pitch due to the rain. At this level of development you have to appreciate every test that you encounter. The lads came out tops under the circumstances.
“There’s no turning back. From now on, we want to keep the winning momentum. We know what we are capable of and with more precision in front of goals, this team is unstoppable. We want to win more games and climb up the log ladder.”
He added: “We must just improve our scoring rate. We must also start moving the ball faster in the final third. If we do that, the goals will follow.”
