Posted: 24 November 2017 Time: 07:15

Amajita have scheduled a friendly with Lesotho in Maseru on Saturday as part of their preparations for the COSAFA U-20 Youth Championships.

Coach Thabo Senong will also use the match to finalise his squad, which will be announced next week, for the regional showpiece, taking place in Kitwe, Zambia from December 6-16.

“We are very grateful to the Lesotho Football Association for this international friendly as this is our only friendly before the tournament,” said Senong.

“We want the players to get into the mood of international matches as soon as possible and this is a great opportunity for many of them to get their first international caps.”

South Africa, runners up in the last edition of the tournament, have been paired with North African guest nation Egypt, Mozambique and Mauritius in Group B.
