Bloemfontein Celtic's players eye Telkom Knockout bonus

Bloemfontein Celtic's players will share a R2million bonus if they beat Bidvest Wits in the Telkom Knockout final at Princess Magogo Stadium on December 2.

The winner of the competition will pocket R4m.

Celtic CEO Khumbulani Konco says their fans have been making travel and accommodation arrangements for the tournament decider in KwaMashu, Durban.

"Our fans love Durban," Konco tells

"The fans had already made arrangements for transport and accommodation even before the semi-final game was played yesterday," he says, referring to the 1-0 win over Polokwane City at Old Peter Mokaba Stadium.

"There is no secret that the players will share half of the prize money if we win the final."

Phunya Sele Sele, in fourth spot on the Premiership table, next visit struggling Platinum Stars in the league on Wednesday minus suspended striker Ndumiso Mabena.
