Cape Town City goalkeeper Shu-Aib Walters returns to training ahead of Baroka showdown

Posted: 15 November 2017 Time: 11:32

Cape Town City have been boosted by the return to training of goalkeeper Shu-Aib Walters.

City, whose coach Benni McCarthy faces a PSL DC hearing next week, have reported that Walters has shaken off a knee injury that has kept him out for over three weeks.

Walters last featured in the MTN8 final loss to SuperSport United at Moses Mabhida Stadium a month ago.

Sage Stephens has kept goal in the club's previous four matches.

Star winger Aubrey Ngoma is also knocking on the door for selection following a lengthy spell on the sidelines.

The Citizens next host Premiership leaders Baroka on November 21. Bakgaga are two points richer but have played an extra match.
