KickOff.com can confirm that Gabonese striker Allan Nono will leave Free State Stars at the end of this month.
This website last week revealed Nono was on the way out of Ea Lla Koto, having yet to score in eight appearances for the club since joining them in January.
Stars hope to bring in another foreigner when Nono departs, with their quota currently exhausted. They also have Bangaly Keita (Guinea), Olivier Kwizera (Rwanda), Badra Ali Sangare (Ivory Coast) and Mohammed Anas (Ghana) on their books.
"He'll be leaving Free State Stars at the end of this month," Nono's agent Saheed Adebayo tells KickOff.com.
"They are just releasing him because injuries have proved to be problematic. He went for a operation before the season started on his knee and he's got another injury now as well. With this, the club felt it was best to part company.
"Also a reason is that he's a foreigner, so the club felt they'd rather have someone who will contribute for the team because he's occupying the foreign spot."
He adds: "I may bring him back to another club in the PSL in January, but we'll wait and see."
