Fabian claims the London side are keen on the midfielder and want to have a look at him during the trial period. Awako was a key man for Ghana enroute to their triumph at the 2009 Africa Youth Championships and is keen to build up on that in order to get a move abroad. He returned from what local media reports said was a trial stint at Inter Milan recently and claimed Jose Mourinho had been so impressed he was heading for Italy in the summer. But now Fabian says Awako is going for trials because he does not want to put his egg in one basket. “What he is doing now is just to ensure that when the deal with the Italian side fails, he would still have a place to pursue his dream career in Europe,” Fabian said.
