Double PSL award winner Rodney Ramagalela insists Polokwane City's success is his chief concern at this stage.
Ramagalela on Thursday was named Absa Premiership Player of the Month for October, while he also won the Goal of the Month prize for August/September with a strike against Mamelodi Sundowns at Loftus Versfeld Stadium on August 22.
The former Sundowns man currently tops the PSL scoring charts with six goals from 10 games, but insists he is not obsessed with getting his name on the scoresheet.
"There is no number of goals I want to score," Ramagalela said. "It is about Polokwane City, as long as the team wins I'm happy because at the end of the day it is the club which has given me a job."
He is confident he will keep performing for Rise and Shine if he remains injury free.
"I think as a team we have done well to make sure we are in a good position.
"I believe that if I stay injury free I can make it happen for myself and the team also. So I will just keep on working hard and see if I can go."
The uncapped 28-year-old is yet to receive a call-up from Bafana Bafana coach Stuart Baxter.
However, he has faith his chance will come and urged the country to get behind Baxter's men for the must-win World Cup qualifiers with Senegal on Friday and Tuesday.
"When it comes to the national team we don't have control over that. The only thing we just have to do is to wait and see the outcome," Ramagalela said.
"As long as I keep on working hard and wait, just like you guys who are waiting to see if I will be selected for the national team.
"But at the end of the day, we are all South Africans so we should support our national team and the only thing we have to do is go to the stadium and support the team. I believe my chance will come as long as I keep on working hard."
