Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder Tiyani Mabunda completed his first training session with Bafana Bafana in Polokwane this morning after being called up as a late replacement.
"Yes, he is here," confirmed SAFA spokesman Dominic Chimhavi.
National team coach Stuart Baxter enlisted Mabunda after his Downs teammate Hlompho Kekana exited the Bafana camp to attend to a family bereavement.
It is unclear whether 'Keke' will be available for Friday's World Cup qualifier with Senegal given the circumstances.
Baxter's midfield options were also depleted by the refusal of Holland-based playmaker Thulani Serero to honour a call-up unless he was guaranteed game-time.
The Brit is closely monitoring knocks to goalkeeper Itumeleng Khune and Andile Jali, with the latter selected for the return duel in Dakar on Tuesday as he carries a one-match ban.
Bafana have scheduled another training session this evening in preparation for the meeting with the Teranga Lions at Peter Mokaba Stadium.
