Mbombela turn to Sutton again

Posted: 8 November 2017 Time: 08:13

KickOff.com has been informed that First Division campaigners Mbombela United have brought back Aschwin Sutton following the sacking of Petrus Chauke.

Chauke was shown the door last week and will now have to make way for the man that he took over from at the beginning of the season.

Sutton is due to take over with immediate effect having travelled from Johannesburg on Tuesday.

He returns to the Mpumalanga-based club after a brief stint with Alexandra Black Aces in the ABC Motsepe League.

Prior to leaving Mbombela at the beginning of the season Sutton had been with the club since January when he replaced Milton Dlamini.

Sutton has vast experience of the First Division having worked at Mabopane Young Masters, Dobsonville All Nations, Maritzburg United, Hanover Park, Batau FC, African Warriors, Black Leopards, Sivutsa Stars, Blackburn Rovers, United FC and FC AK.

Mbombela are currently fourth on the standings, just three points behind leaders Highlands Park.
