Bonginkosi Ntuli opened the scoring for Dikwena in the first half but Siwelele came from behind with Lantshene Phalane netting three minutes before the hour before Tshegofatso Mabaso sealed the match 10 minutes from time.
Katlego Otladisa had the first real opportunity of the match in the 12th minute, slaloming past two defenders on the edge of the box before smashing a low left-footed shot that was saved by Patrick Tignyemb.
There was a water break taken after 25 minutes in the scorching heat in Phokeng and the two sides came out energised, especially Siwelele who nearly scored a minute later.
However, Dikwena grabbed the lead in the 29th minute through Ntuli who lobbed on-rushing goalkeeper Tignyemb inside the box following a ball that was played over the defence in a counter-attack, 1-0.
Veselin Jelusic's charges came out of their shell leading up to the closing stages of the first half.
Strikers Victor Letsoalo and Ndumiso Mabena were getting frustrated as they collected a yellow card each in the space of two minutes for dangerous play as the visitors had a sense of urgency. But the first stanza ended with the hosts leading by a goal.
Ntuli should have punished Siwelele five minutes into the second half after he was gifted a through ball by a costly back-pass that eluded sweeper Wandisile Letlabika, but his curling shot inside the box was brilliantly saved by Tignyemb.
Phalane brought Phunya Sele Sele level three minutes before the hour from a direct free-kick on the edge of the box, pin-pointing a grass-cutting left-footed curler that found the bottom right corner, 1-1.
Phalane nearly had his second goal in the 75th minute but his right footed pile-driver from outside the box was saved by Dino Visser.
Tshegofatso Mabaso gave Jelusic's troops the lead 10 minutes before time after a good flowing attack that was initiated by Kabelo Mahlasela inside the box, who set up Mabaso to score inside an empty net, 1-2.
Phalane had another opportunity three minutes from time with a free-kick on the far side of the edge of the box but his left footed strike ruffled the top side of the net.
