Mogakolodi Ngele could make his much-awaited return in Mamelodi Sundowns colours when the Brazilians visit Bidvest Wits in their next league game on November 21.
The Botswana international has received his permanent residence permit, following in the footsteps of teammates Cuthbert Malajila, Khama Billiat, Denis Onyango, Kennedy Mweene and Anthony Laffor.
Ngele spent last term on loan at Wits, scoring six goals in 23 appearances in all competitions for the Premiership champions.
Sundowns coach Pitso Mosimane says he has been waiting to call on the expertise of 'Tsotso'.
"Ngele got his work permit, hopefully he will also come, we have been waiting for him," said Mosimane of Ngele, who was nursing a knock prior to Downs' 3-1 win over Orlando Pirates in Soweto on Wednesday night.
"When I see free-kicks like [Marc] van Heerden's, we know we have somebody that can deliver those balls."
'Jingles' also revealed that defender Rivaldo Coetzee has made progress with the foot injury he arrived at Chloorkop with in August.
The Bafana Bafana centre-back was signed on transfer deadline day from Ajax Cape Town following an aborted move to Glasgow Celtic.
"Rivaldo has taken off the moon boot," added Mosimane.
