Pitso Mosimane: No buses parked when Mamelodi Sundowns play Orlando Pirates

Posted: 2 November 2017 Time: 14:30

Mamelodi Sundowns coach Pitso Mosimane says no buses are ever parked when the Brazilians play Orlando Pirates.

Sundowns beat Pirates 3-1 at Orlando Stadium last night, with chances at either end in Soweto.

"I always say when Pirates play Sundowns you know the story, you have a football game," said Mosimane after the entertaining league tie.

"We don't have this thing of people parking buses, it's bad football. One-zero, people play on the break only and you lose to those people because they are sitting in.

"I read the Fadlu Davids story saying people are parking the bus. I said, 'Ja, I remember when I played you in the top eight [MTN8]'."

He added: "The difficult thing with our football, I don't know where we are going because people are playing not to lose - that's what we have now. One-zero, that's why we had four goals tonight because we were playing.

"I always say when two teams play football you can find a big thriller. You saw what happened in East London, it's a break, you know it's gonna come, they catch you on a break."

'Jingles' also gave credit to Bucs counterpart Milutin Sredojevic and his former assistant Rhulani Mokwena for reviving the Buccaneers.

"Unbelievable team Orlando Pirates, what a revived team, unbelievable."
