Tottenham striker Harry Kane says the team believes they can beat anyone, as evidenced by their memorable win over Real Madrid.

Spurs advanced to the last-16 of the UEFA Champions League with a 3-1 victory over the defending champions at Wembley on Wednesday night.

"There is a long way to go," said Kane, who returned to the starting lineup against Real after recovering from a hamstring injury.

"We've still got two more group games, we'll see how we cope with that and then see who we get in the next round.

"We feel like we can beat anyone.

"In the Champions League you have to beat the best teams to go far and that's what we'll try and do."

Mauricio Pochettino's men next face Crystal Palace in the Premier League on Sunday.
