AmaZulu could sign left-back Sibusiso Mxoyana

AmaZulu could give former Bloemfontein Celtic and Orlando Pirates defender Sibusiso Mxoyana a contract after he impressed the club’s technical team during his trial.

Mxoyana has been training with AmaZulu for the past few days with a view to winning the favour of coach Cavin Johnson.

Usuthu are currently thin at the left-back position and this was evident when they played defender Thembela Sikhakhane, who usually plays at right-back, at the left side of defence during the Telkom Knockout last 16 encounter against Kaizer Chiefs in Durban last weekend.

Usuthu lost the game 3-0 and were given problems on the left side of defence by Joseph Molangoane.

Johnson has confirmed Mxoyana's presence in Durban, saying the player is training with the club at the moment.
