Cavin confused by Morton suspension

AmaZulu coach Cavin Johnson is unsure if midfielder Michael Morton is suspended for tonight's clash with log leaders Baroka.
On Tuesday morning the PSL sent out its suspension list, which included the name of Bidvest Wits striker Hellings Mhango but not Morton.
Later the PSL announced Morton had received an extra two-match ban for shoving Mhango to the ground during a league match in KwaMashu on September 20.
Morton had already served a two-game ban after he was sent off by referee Eketseng Setloboko for retaliation. Morton lost his cool when Mhango spat at him. The Wits striker received a 10-match ban (four matches suspended) for the altercation.
Morton sat out fixtures against Platinum Stars and Polokwane City then returned against Mamelodi Sundowns on October 21. He did not feature in the 3-0 loss to Kaizer Chiefs in the Telkom Knockout on the weekend.
“One thing that eludes our minds or makes a question in our mind is the suspension of Michael Morton and he’s not available,” said Johnson.
“But when you read the papers yesterday Michael Morton is not mentioned in the suspension list for the games to be played. So I’m quoting two worlds: the Durban world and Johannesburg world.
“There are some emails that has been getting cut by the time it’s getting to us. I read Mhango is suspended, if it’s correct, but Michael Morton’s name is not there, is not mentioned. So it’s a bit of a catch-22 situation for our club.
“Can I put him in? If I put him in maybe I’ll lose the points.”
Johnson previously questioned the merits of the charges laid against Morton.
