Teboho Moloi dedicates Chippa United's win over Mamelodi Sundowns to the chairman

Chippa United coach Teboho Moloi dedicated his side's 1-0 win over Mamelodi Sundowns to the chairman Siviwe Mpengesi and the supporters.

Samuel Julies came off the bench to net the winning goal as the Chilli Boys advanced to the Telkom Knockout quarterfinals.

"You know with Jehova everything is possible. I want to give credit to the boys and my chairman. He has always supported me. And he has always wanted to see this. Today's game we dedicate it to him," the Orlando Pirates legend told SuperSport TV.

"He told us if we go there and fight we will win. This win is very important for Chippa and the supporters. It was something special. But today for my hero [Pitso Mosimane] we went to the Cosmos school together, Pirates school together. He's been there for me. There's nothing much I can say but tough luck to him. He's a fighter he will get Sundowns back on track.

"What I like about this team is that we have influential players but we don't have regulars. The other guys had to step in and show why are they part of the team.

"That's why I wasn't worried [about some of the players missing] even though they're influential but I have fighters. They have experience under their belt, it's just that they haven't been exposed. Now they're getting exposure and showing what they can do."

Meanwhile Man of the Match Mpho Mvelase hailed his coach for the motivation he gave them before the match.

"God is great hey. Nobody thought we'd come here [and win]. What was important was what was in our minds. The coach told us that there's only one game to play [as it is a cup match]. I'm very glad we got the win today."
