Mamelodi Sundowns coach Pitso Mosimane will fine midfielder Tiyani Mabunda following his dismissal against Kaizer Chiefs at Loftus Versfeld last night.
Sundowns lost 2-1 to Amakhosi with Mabunda receiving two cautions, one of which was for tangling with Joseph Molangoane after the Chiefs man put in a bad challenge on Khama Billiat.
Mosimane expects more composure from the Bafana Bafana international, who exited proceedings in the 73rd minute in Tshwane.
"He was a little bit careless. It's unacceptable going for the second yellow card,” says Mosimane.
“It doesn’t matter what happened to Khama on the line. He has to control his emotions. He is a professional. He is a Bafana Bafana player, he can't lose his emotions. I will fine him for it, it's unacceptable.”
Mabunda will serve a two-game ban against AmaZulu on Saturday and Chippa United on October 28.
Downs are seventh on the Premiership table with nine points from five games - six points shy of leaders Baroka, who have played two extra matches.
