Kaizer Chiefs defender Siyabonga Ngezana reveals Steve Komphela informed him to remain calm ahead of his debut against Mamelodi Sundowns.
The 19-year-old played the full 90 minutes and scored the opening goal as Chiefs defeated Mamelodi Sundowns 2-1 on Tuesday evening.
Ngezana, who was also named Man of the Match, says he is taking it one game at a time.
"I'm taking it game by game. I don't rush anything. Every game means more hard work. Credit to my teammates, it's all for them," Ngezana told SuperSport TV.
"He [Komphela] said I must be calm and play my football. The way I was on form, I must keep on going, scoring goals for the team.
"He said, we are not the answers for this team, but the solutions as youngsters, so we must keep on going, helping the team. Every point is crucial."
