Teko Modise admits tough ask for Cape Town City to face Bloemfontein Celtic after MTN8 disappointment

Cape Town City playmaker Teko Modise admits it won't be easy to be switched on for tonight's league clash with Bloemfontein Celtic following their MTN8 heartache.

The Citizens are hurting after losing 4-2 on penalties to SuperSport United in the MTN8 final at Moses Mabhida Stadium on Saturday night.

Benni McCarthy's men have little time to sulk as they prepare to host Phunya Sele Sele at Athlone Stadium, with kick-off set for 19h30 in the Mother City.

"It's going to be difficult," conceded Modise, who was sharp and full of ideas in the final third against his former employers in Durban over the weekend.

"We are going to do our best to play. It's going to be difficult, I'm not going to lie.

"We knew that Saturday's game was the one game that we wanted to win and it was unfortunate that we never did. We got a task today. It's going to be difficult, I'm not going to lie."
