Eric Tinkler's SuperSport United players cash in after MTN8 triumph

SuperSport United's players are smiling all the way to the bank after winning the MTN8 Cup at Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban on Saturday.

SuperSport beat Cape Town City 4-2 on penalties in the final for the club's 12th major trophy.

Eric Tinkler's charges will share in half of the R8 million prize money as a bonus for their efforts.

"It's our policy to reward our players for hard effort. We will do the same again after winning the MTN8 Cup final," club spokesman David Skhosane tell

Matsatsantsa have little time to celebrate as they will battle Tunisian outfit Club Africain this Sunday for a place in the CAF Confederation Cup final.

The Tshwane giants drew the first leg 1-1 on home soil.
