Mamelodi Sundowns winger Themba Zwane feels his combination play with Percy Tau and Sibusiso Vilakazi is getting better with each game.
The trio netted in Bafana Bafana's 3-1 World Cup qualifying win over Burkina Faso at FNB Stadium last weekend, reviving hopes the national team can earn a spot at Russia 2018.
"I think it is because we play together here, we understand each other, you know," said Zwane when asked about their link-up play at Soccer City.
"The combination becomes stronger and stronger each and every game, and it is important that we take it from the team to the national team."
Zwane believes the right tactics were key to taming the Stallions, as the under-fire hosts responded after two shock defeats to minnows Cape Verde.
"The Bafana game was about tactics and understanding the tactics. We knew what we wanted to do, because we watched their previous game and we knew their strong point and weaknesses.
"So our plan was to shift and play on the right side and when we get ball the ball, catch them on the counter, and at the end of the day it happened and we managed to get three points."
