Cape Town City's players will collect a bonus of at least R4 million if they win the MTN8 final against SuperSport United on Saturday, according to Citizens chairman John Comitis.
The prize money for the winners is R8m.
Comitis confirmed Benni McCarthy's charges have been incentivised.
"The coach will make the call," Comitis tells KickOff.com.
"But they will take home at least half of the amount."
The Citizens are hoping to add a second trophy to their cabinet following their Telkom Knockout triumph in their first year of existence last season.
The Mother City outfit were formed when ex-Ajax Cape Town boss Comitis bought the topflight status of Mpumalanga Black Aces.
They came third in the league in 2016/17 and won the TKO under current SuperSport mentor Eric Tinkler.
