Bloemfontein Celtic midfielder Jacky Motshegwa insists there is no such thing as a friendly between Phunya Sele Sele and Kaizer Chiefs.
The teams will contest the annual Macufe Cup at Free State Stadium on Sunday, with Siwelele out for revenge following their 4-1 loss in the event last year.
While the match takes place in the FIFA international break, Motshegwa maintains the hosts are out to settle a score.
“Last season's performance was dismal and unfair to multitudes of our supporters who converged at the stadium and that must be rectified with a splendid brand of football complemented with goals,” he told his club's website.
“We are the hosts and are expected to produce a sumptuous display, keeping the momentum and subsequently reclaiming what belongs to us.
“We are wary of Chiefs; however, our preparations have been extensive and everyone wants to play with determination because there is no friendly game between the two teams.
“Collectively, we have been working towards building a winning mentality and the Macufe Cup will help us continue with the trend.”
