Bayern president Uli Hoeness says Pep Guardiola has given his approval on the Bundesliga giant's news coach, who will be unveiled soon.
Reports in Germany claim former Manchester United manager Louis Van Gaal will be appointed as the club's new coach until the end of the season.
Thomas Tuchel and Luis Enrique have also been touted as possible replacements for Carlo Ancelotti, who was relieved of his duties last week.
"He (Guardiola) promised that he would come to Oktoberfest every year," Hoeness told Abendzeitung.
"It was a meeting between friends, but of course we have also spoken about professional matters.
"I told him who we were going to recruit [as the new Bayern manager] in the next few days and he was satisfied."
