Architects employ unique design to expand Ekaterinburg Arena seating to World Cup standards

Architects working on the Ekaterinburg Arena have come up with a unique solution to their seating problem after building a new stand outside of the stadium.
FIFA-sanctioned World Cup stadiums are required to seat at least 35,000 spectators, although the Yekaterinburg-based venue falls a few thousand short of that number.
However, designers have come up with an ingenious solution to the problem after building an entire stand outside of the building to take the stadium above the regulation number of seats.
