Platinum Stars coach Roger de Sa will use the next couple of weeks to study Orlando Pirates as Dikwena seek to claim their first win of the season at his ex-employers' expense.
Stars find themselves at the foot of the table with two points from seven games, and will next visit high-flying Pirates at Orlando Stadium in Soweto on October 18.
“We play Pirates in three weeks' time and we have got enough time to study them, look at them and improve ourselves as well," De Sa is quoted as saying by his club.
"Now it’s time to put work in certain areas that we need to improve on. And hopefully we will improve."
De Sa aims to schedule two friendlies during the FIFA break and give minutes to the likes of Lehlogonolo 'Vieira' Masalesa, who made his debut off the bench in a 1-0 loss to Mamelodi Sundowns on Sunday after a lengthy spell on the sidelines with an ankle injury.
De Sa is also hopeful Zambian recruit Brian Mwila can shake off a knock and bolster their options upfront.
"I am looking at two PSL friendlies. I want to give guys like Vieira a run to get match fitness and get two or more combinations.
“Hopefully in the next weeks we can work on a lot of things. I want to bring one or two players to create competitiveness as well.
"Hopefully Mwila comes back from injury. Vieira is another player that will be in contention. We gave him 15 minutes against Sundowns," concluded the former Bafana Bafana goalkeeper.
