Real Madrid goalkeeper Keylor Navas has leaped to the defence of Cristiano Ronaldo, who is yet to score in La Liga this season.
The Portugal international missed the opening four games due to a suspension he picked up for shoving a referee in the Spanish Super Cup.
However, Ronaldo has since played three league matches without producing any goals but Navas claims Ronaldo performed in other areas.
"Ronaldo worked well and defended with all of the team," Navas was quoted as saying by Marca.
"He assisted when he had the ball and passed to his team-mates.
"These are good pieces of play that should be valued like goals."
The reigning La Liga champions currently sit in fifth spot, seven points behind rivals FC Barcelona.
