Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane hails impact of Isco following La Liga win against Espanyol

Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane believes people are starting to see the best from Isco following his brace against Espanyol on Sunday.

The Spain midfielder bagged both goals as the Galacticos climbed to fifth in the La Liga standings, having previously endured a rocky start to the campaign.

And while Zidane claims to have always been a fan of the forward, the coach believes he is now starting to produce his very best.

"He [Isco] has more confidence. He knows now that he is important but he has always been,” Zidane told AS.

"He plays the way he plays on the street - he has no worries and I like it. When things don't work out, he has patience.

"I hope we can see an even better Isco."

He added: "He [Isco] is not tired but he has missed a lot of games.

"He is very disappointed because he hasn't scored yet but this is football. I hope in the next game it changes for him but that pass to Isco was phenomenal."
