Polokwane City coach Bernard Molekwa has praised goalkeeper Harold Ndlovu despite his late error in the 2-2 draw with Orlando Pirates.
The Rise and Shine keeper was caught off his line and was unable to keep out Thamsanqa Gabuza's late header that denied them three points.
Ndlovu was brought in as a replacement for George Chigova, who picked up an injury.
"George had a problem with his lower back, so he said he can't continue because he was feeling pain," Molekwa told SuperSport TV.
"So Harold had a good game, we need to give him confidence. We know he can do better, he has been doing well even in some friendlies.
"He put us in the game, if it was not his saves especially in the first half we could have went into the halftime break 4-0 down. He had a good game except for the last mistake he did. We cannot kick him for that."
